Assembly District 41 has no incumbent because David Parks left the seat to run for Dina’s Senate seat.
Assembly District 29 has no incumbent because Susan Gerhardt has opted not to run for re-election.
Assembly District 23 has no incumbent because RoseMary Womack has opted not to run for re-election.
Assembly District 2 has no incumbent because Garn Mabey has opted not to run for re-election.                                                                                             

As state employee's we all know that the current make up of the Nevada State Senate  has time and time again killed the majority of our Bills introduced.   It doesn't matter if it’s collective bargaining, pay increases, or reforming the EMC committee, our bills rarely make it out of the Senate committees. 
In November 2008, as a united union we have a chance to change  the future for  state employee’s.
Republicans and Democrats alike  must stand united and fight for our rights!   We can do this by electing  State Senators that will pass collective bargaining and other bills that will improve our working conditions and family life. 
If we want change, our members need to support the plan of Dina Titus, Nevada’s Senate Minority Leader.  By doing this we can achieve the results needed to help take over the Senate majority.     This can only be done by members getting involved in the 2008 local election process. 
Our time is NOW!  If we want our Bills passed we must all unite together and get involved in the process to get State Senators elected who will respect State employees. -Where can I Register?
Nevada doesn’t have  an online registration system, you have to go to the DMV or your local County Clerks/Registrar of Voters office to register.

- What are the deadlines for registering to vote if I want to vote in the 2008 elections?
Primary Election: July 12, 2008, if you register to vote by mail. July 22, 2008, if you register to vote in person. General Election: October 4, 2008, if you register to vote by mail. October 14, 2008, if you register to vote in person.
